Data processing services from raw data to a checked report Agents do the volume of every step, and people check what needs judgment
Outsource data processing from the first form to the report One team for the whole chain, so nothing is lost between steps
How our data processing outsourcing works Five steps, each with agents doing the volume and a person checking
- Before the first batchMap the sourcesWe list every source and agree the fields, the rules and the output you need.
- Every batchCollect and prepareAgents gather the raw data, remove duplicates and fix what breaks your rules.
- Every batchEnter and convertEach record is keyed or converted into your schema, and doubtful ones go to a person.
- Every batchValidateThe batch owner checks a sample against the sources and signs the batch off.
- DeliveryReportYou get the clean file, and the reports built on it, in your own tools.
When data processing services are the right fit And when one narrower service will do the job
A good fit when
- Your data arrives from many sources in many formats
- Several teams touch it before anyone can use it
- You need the finished report, not only the keyed records
Look elsewhere when
- You only need records keyed from documents: see data entry
- You only need an existing database cleaned: see clean, complete records
- You need a data platform built: see data engineering
Our data processing services in detail The types of data processing we run, and what you get from each
Form and document processing
Vouchers, insurance papers, purchase orders, and financial and legal documents arrive in every layout. We capture the fields each one carries, check them against the form's own rules, and organize them in the format you choose.
A missing signature or a total that doesn't add up isn't keyed over. The agent sends that form to a person, who decides whether it can be fixed or has to go back to you.
Invoice, survey and market research data processing
Invoices are captured, matched to their purchase orders and coded, so payments go out on time. Survey and market research forms are scanned, keyed, coded and cleaned, so the analysis starts from one consistent file.
Each of these has its own page under data entry, if you only need that one step.
- Invoices matched to orders before payment
- Open answers coded to your codebook
- Every survey response checked against the survey's logic
Data cleansing, standardization and enrichment
Raw data from many sources repeats itself and disagrees with itself. We remove duplicates, set one format for names, addresses, dates and units, and fill missing fields from sources you approve.
A person decides the matches an agent can't be sure of, such as two customer records that might be one company.
Data conversion and document digitization
Paper archives, scanned images and old file formats are converted into a format your systems read. Scanned pages are indexed, so your team can find a document by its number, its date or its customer.
Online and offline data processing
Online data processing happens inside your systems, through the accounts you give us. Offline data processing starts from files you send us, and we return the finished files to you.
Turning raw data into reports and insights
Once the data is clean, we build the charts, dashboards and tables your managers read, in Excel, Power BI or the tool you already use. Every figure traces back to the records it came from.
Where it helps, agents add simple forecasts or flag unusual records, such as a supplier whose prices jump. A person reads each flag before it reaches a report.
Questions about data processing services What buyers ask us before they send the first batch
What is data processing?
Data processing turns raw data into something a business can use. It covers collecting the data, preparing it, entering or converting it into one format, checking it, and presenting it as files, reports or dashboards.
What are the different types of data processing services?
The common types are form and document processing, invoice processing, survey and market research processing, data cleansing and standardization, data enrichment, data conversion, and document digitization. Damco runs each one on its own, or as one chain from source to report.
Which industries need data processing services?
Any business that handles large volumes of records. We see it most in insurance, healthcare, banking, retail and ecommerce, real estate, logistics and market research.
Can you process both online and offline data?
Yes. Online data processing runs inside your own systems through the accounts you create for us, so the data never leaves them. Offline data processing starts from files you send, such as scans, spreadsheets or exports, and we send the finished files back.
Is my data secure with a data processing company?
You decide where the data lives and how we reach it: a secure transfer folder, a VPN, or accounts you create for us. Only the people on your batch can open the work, and we sign your confidentiality agreement before the first file.
What does it cost to outsource data processing services?
We price per record or per document, not per hour, so you pay for finished work. The price depends on how many sources there are and how many records need a person, which a sample batch shows us.
