When a data verification company is the right fit And when your records need cleaning or filling instead
A good fit when
- A directory or list must be correct before it's published or mailed
- Mail returns and calls reach wrong numbers more than they should
- Data read from scanned forms needs checking before it's used
Look elsewhere when
- Fields are missing rather than wrong: see data appending
- Records are duplicated and badly formatted: see data cleansing
- You need checks built into your own forms and systems: see data engineering
Data verification and validation services in detail What each check covers and what you get back
Data validation solutions built on your rules
Validation checks that each value has the right form: a postal code with the right pattern, a date in range, a policy number with the right check digit. We write your rules down with you, and agents apply them to every record.
Records that fail go back with the rule they broke, so your team can fix the source, not just the row.
Geo-location address verification services
We verify each address against postal data for its country and add coordinates, so mail arrives and maps plot the right place. Addresses that don't exist or have changed are corrected or flagged, following each country's postal standard.
Phone verification services
We check each number's format and whether it's a mobile, landline, or office line. Where a list has to be exact, such as a healthcare provider directory, a person calls to confirm the number and the details behind it.
Email address validation services
We check each email address for syntax, a working domain, and a mailbox that accepts mail, and we flag role addresses and known traps. Your campaigns bounce less, and your sending reputation stays clean.
OCR data validation services
Text read from scans by OCR has errors that look right, such as a 5 read as an S. Agents compare each field with its expected pattern, and a person checks every doubtful field against the image itself.
Bulk and multiple-source data validation
Large files run in batches, so a directory of 200,000 providers is checked section by section and each section is signed off before the next. Where a field has several sources, agents compare them and a person settles the ones that disagree.
You get each record back with its status: verified, corrected, or failed, and the source or rule behind it.
Social profile verification
Before your sales team contacts a prospect, we confirm the profile belongs to the right person at the right company, and that the role is current. A reviewer decides when two people share a name.
Questions about data verification and validation What buyers ask us before checks start
What is the difference between data validation and verification?
Validation checks that data has the right form, such as a valid email format or a 10-digit phone number. Verification checks that the content is true against a trusted source, such as whether the email address accepts mail. We do both, in that order.
What is your source for data verification?
We agree the sources with you for each field: postal data, telephone numbering data, official registers, company websites, and calls where a list must be exact. We compare several sources, and a person decides when they disagree.
How do you ensure data privacy and security?
We work in the environment and under the access rules you agree with us, and only the people on your project can open your data. Everyone on the work signs a confidentiality agreement, and we return or delete your data when the project ends, as you choose.
What accuracy do you reach, and what process do you follow?
Agents check every record against your rules and the agreed sources, a reviewer decides every conflict, and a named batch owner checks a sample of each batch before sign-off. You see the accuracy measured on that sample with every delivery.
Do you verify data by web research or by calling?
Both, depending on how exact the list has to be. Most fields are checked against published sources. Where a record must be right, such as a provider's phone number or specialty, a person calls to confirm it.
What is your pricing model for data verification and validation services?
We price per record. The price depends on which fields we check and whether a check needs a call, and we quote after a sample.
Send us the list that has to be right
We'll reply with the checks we'd run on each field and the price per record.
