When data enrichment services are the right fit And when your records need fixing or filling first

A good fit when

  • Your CRM has company names but nothing to segment them by
  • Sales can't tell which accounts fit your product before calling
  • You're planning a territory, a campaign, or an acquisition screen

Look elsewhere when

  • You only need phone numbers or emails: see data appending
  • Your records are full of duplicates: start with data cleansing
  • You have no account list yet: see web research

Data enrichment service offerings in detail What each part of enrichment adds, and how we check it

Data capturing

Data capturing collects the facts your records are missing from the places they're published: company websites, business directories, filings, press releases, and printed documents you send us. Agents read the sources and pull each fact into the right field, with a link to where it came from.

We collect from public pages and licensed sources only, and we agree the list of sources with you before we start.

Firmographic and technographic data

Firmographic data describes a company: industry code, employee band, revenue band, headquarters, sites, and parent company. Technographic data says what it runs, such as an ERP, a CRM, or a cloud platform, where there's public evidence of it.

A distributor targeting plants with more than 200 staff in three states can filter on these fields the same day the file lands.

Data profiling

Data profiling builds a fuller picture of each account: what it sells, where it's growing, recent news, and the roles that usually buy from you. We write the profile in the fields your CRM already has, so your team reads it where they work.

Where the evidence is thin, a reviewer decides the value or leaves it blank and says why.

Data validation and verification

Enrichment adds little if the record underneath is wrong. Before we enrich, we check that each company still exists, merge duplicates, and correct names and domains. After we enrich, a reviewer checks a sample of every batch against the sources.

Ecommerce and product data enrichment

Enrichment works for products as well as companies. We add attributes such as material, size, compatibility, and category to product records from manufacturer sites and catalogs, so shoppers can filter and your search returns the right item.

A reviewer decides the values that need judgment, such as which category a product belongs in.

Data enrichment for mergers, acquisitions, and market research

Deal teams and strategy teams use enrichment to screen a market. We take a long list of companies and add size, ownership, locations, and products, so you can shortlist targets on facts rather than names.

Lead scoring and segmentation

With the fields in place, we apply the fit rules your sales team uses, such as industry, size, and the products a site runs. Each account gets a score and a segment, so sales works the best ones first and marketing builds lists without a spreadsheet.

Questions about data enrichment services What buyers ask us before enrichment starts

What sources do you use to enrich existing databases?

Public records, company websites, business directories, filings, licensed data providers, and research our team does. We agree the sources with you first, and every value we add records where it came from.

Can I enrich data in real time via an API?

Our service runs in batches, daily, weekly, or as a one-off file. If you need each record enriched the moment it's created, we can design that into your own systems through our data engineering work.

What is your average match rate in B2B data enrichment projects?

It depends on how complete and current your records are, and on the fields you need. We enrich a sample first and show you the coverage for each field before you commit.

How are data enrichment services priced?

We price per record. The price depends on how many fields you need and how hard they are to find, and we quote it after the sample.

What's the difference between data enrichment and data appending?

Appending fills in contact fields that are missing, such as a phone number or an address. Enrichment adds new attributes, such as industry, size, and the software a company runs, so you can segment and score.
