How you engage Damco
You pay for your process, not for the foundation. We bring the platforms and the process library, build your process on them, and run it with you as far as you want us to. Three things give an engagement its shape: how much of it we manage, what the fee waits on, and what happens to the software.
Talk about an engagementManaged, co-managed, or yours, one dimension at a time
A managed service does not have to mean handing everything over. Who runs the process, who operates the platforms, who changes them, and where it all runs are four separate choices, and each one can move as your team grows into it. Set the board to the shape you have in mind.
This is a co-managed shape, set one row at a time. Any row can move toward you later, and the software does not change hands when it does, because it is already in your tenant.
Whichever shape you choose, the software is in your tenant, and the infrastructure and inference bills stay on your account, shown per process beside the count. Fully managed means we run all of it for you; it does not mean we hold it.
What outcome-based means
The fee has two parts. One is paid for the build, at each release gate. The other waits until a count your process already keeps reaches the number we agreed on before anything was built. We are not paid by the hour, and we are not paid for the software.
The count is the step the agent owns. If we built you a sales agent, it would be the leads it carried to a proposal. In insurance it looks like this:
The software keeps changing, and no gate locks it to us
A retainer is not a licence. It is the software staying under active change: every release gives the agents more room, moves the next process in, and keeps the count where it landed. You stop running a software project and keep owning the software.
On retainer
A monthly or quarterly fee, for as long as you want the ladder to keep going.
Fixed price
One price for one process, to one outcome, agreed before the build starts.
